Frequently Asked Questions
CoralWeave 850 FAQs
What does 850 GSM mean?
850 GSM means the towel has a dense microfiber structure with strong water absorption. It gives CoralWeave 850 a balance of softness, absorbency and control without feeling too heavy when wet.
Why does my drying towel feel less absorbent after a few washes?
This usually happens when detergent residue, fabric softener, wax, drying aid or hard water minerals build up inside the fibres. Wash the towel separately with a microfiber-safe detergent, skip fabric softener, and rinse well.
Can I use CoralWeave 850 if it has fallen on the ground?
Do not use it on paint after it has touched the ground. Even if it looks clean, the fibres can trap grit that may scratch paint. Wash it first, or downgrade it for wheels, door jambs or dirty jobs.
Can I use the same towel for drying and buffing ceramic spray?
You can, but it is better to keep them separate. Drying towels can become too wet, while ceramic sprays need a clean, dry microfiber for a clear, streak-free buff.
Is one expensive microfiber towel really better than multiple cheap towels?
Usually, yes. A better towel is softer, more absorbent and safer on paint. Cheap towels can still be useful, but keep them for lower-risk areas like wheels, jambs and interiors.
