For foam lance application, Opaline can be diluted at 1:1, with a recommended 1:100 dilution for water tanks, creating a thick blanket of foam that can dwell for 1–2 minutes before being rinsed away. For bucket washing, just 20 mL (2 caps) in 10 L of warm water delivers a rich, effective wash solution with exceptional lubrication and controlled cleaning power. Yes. Opaline is designed to wash safely over nano coatings, ceramic coatings, waxes and sealants. It delivers a smooth, lubricated wash that helps lift dirt without stripping away your vehicle’s protective finish.

Can I use Opaline in a foam cannon?

Yes. Opaline can be used with a foam lance or foam cannon. For foam lance use, dilute Opaline at a 1:1 ratio, apply a thick layer of foam over the vehicle, allow it to dwell for 1–2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with a hose or pressure washer.

How much shampoo do I use per bucket?

For a bucket wash, use 20 mL, which is around 2 caps, mixed into 10 L of warm water. For best results, rinse the vehicle first, wash from top to bottom, and use a CRAFTWASH mitt with a two-bucket or three-bucket wash method where possible.

What towel should I use after washing?

Use a soft, lint-free drying towel to prevent water spots and protect the paint. For best results, we recommend CabinCraft AQUAGRIP 1600, especially if you want a plush, high-absorbency towel that suits premium paintwork.

Can I use Opaline on trims, tyres and wheels?

Yes. Opaline is suitable for exterior surfaces including paintwork, plastic trims, tyres and rims. Avoid using it on interior surfaces or for engine cleaning.

Is Opaline concentrated?

Yes. Opaline is a concentrated wash formula, so a small amount goes a long way. For normal bucket washing, only 20 mL per 10 L of water is required.

What is the best way to wash with Opaline?

For the safest wash, rinse the vehicle first, dilute Opaline correctly, use a CRAFTWASH Mitt, and wash in straight lines from top to bottom. Work in small sections, rinse thoroughly, then dry with a plush microfiber drying towel.

Do I need to rinse it off completely?

Yes. Always rinse thoroughly after washing to remove all surfactants from the surface. This helps avoid residue, streaking, or spotting after the wash.
